How can you get involved? Volunteer to lead or help with each of the activities for each BESG event. We are always looking for scientists, especially women scientists, to interact with the girls at these events. |

Afterschool Universe Afterschool astronomy program for middle school age students (grades 6-8)
How can you get involved? You can train afterschool program leaders and/or run this program locally in your community. You can also work with the Afterschool Universe team to develop and add new modules to the program. |

How can you get involved? Join the Blueshift team and help put our podcast together! We are continually looking for volunteers from the ASD to help write, record, and edit each episode.

Family Science Night (Washington, DC area) Held once a month at the Goddard Visitor Center
How can you get involved? Volunteer for Family Science Night and interact one-on-one with local families as they engage in thematic activities at the Goddard Visitor Center. We're looking for scientists and engineers to support the program content and serve as "resident experts" for our inquisitive families. |
