A large house-shaped crane on widely spaced railroad tracks is silhouetted against a bright blue sky, as the 10-story launch tower looms in the background (51K JPEG)

The aptly-named Goliath Crane is shown here rolling between the spacecraft assembly building and the launch tower. When the spacecraft is ready to be mounted on the rocket, it will be placed on a cart and rolled along these tracks to the launch tower. The crane is actually only used to push at that time.
