XRS-2 PhotosM-V and launcher →The Nose Fairing in the Tower

The white cylindrical skin of the rocket towers up to and through the ceiling. (46K JPEG)

This is the nose fairing of the rocket, as seen from the 8th floor of the launch tower, where we service the XRS dewar. You can see half of the 9th floor, of which the other half has been lifted up to improve ventilation, and the hole in the 10th floor through which the tip of the nose fairing protrudes.
