XRS-2 PhotosAt the launch site →ASTRO-E on the Third Stage

ASTRO-E looking small compared to the third stage (49K JPEG)

ASTRO-E attached to the third stage of the M-V rocket. Suddenly the spacecraft doesn't seem so big as it used to. We can't use flash photography, because the sudden flash of light could cause the solar panels to produce enough voltage to momentarily power some of the spacecraft's systems.
