XRS-2 PhotosAt the launch site →M-V Rocket, Stage 2

Bulbous nose of the second stage of the M-V rocket. (67K JPEG)

The rocket is partially assembled inside the tower building. Here we are looking down on the top of the second stage, through a hole in the 8th floor (where ASTRO-E will be, and from which we will be servicing XRS until just before launch). On the left is the rail which supports the rocket when it is rotated out of the building for launch.
